The shoe will be raised from the back and will be very comfortable to stand on. For brides who are not used to any heels at all, this could be a great option to add height without adding any instability.
The other way to get the same thing is again by choosing wedding flip flops with a slight heel. Wedding flip flops will be completely flat, but have that extra height if you choose 1 inch flip flops. Again, if your dress is long, wearing the flip flop will not matter. This is a personal choice though since many brides want to match their shoes to their dress and flip flops, while fun, are not always the most beautiful match to the wedding dress.
