Navy is a great color if you’ve chosen an ivory wedding dress. Somehow, the contrast between the ivory and navy works really well. Light blue goes really well with a white wedding dress. It is very complimentary and actually the light shade is really close to white. Therefore, you will usually only see a hint of blue in this color. Or, if you don’t want to be too bold, but still want to change up your look, go for this shade.
Royal Blue Wedding Shoes
This was the color favored by Sarah Jessica Parker on the recent Sex and the City movie and this color is fantastic. It is a deep color reminiscent of royalty. Plenty of brides have been choosing it because it is vibrant and elegant. This color goes best with a white wedding dress, although ivory may work, depending on how deep the shade of ivory is. For those who want to make a definite bold statement, consider royal blue shoes.
Tiffany Blue Wedding Shoes
The final color to think about is tiffany blue. This is the same color as the tiffany boxes you see from the stores. This color is as close to turquoise as you can get. It’s a beautiful color that matches well with white. Even the Tiffany store uses a blue box with a white ribbon. This is the quintessential wedding color and it is simply fabulous. Choose this color if you are wearing a white, not an ivory dress.
